The Point with Bill Crawford
Weekdays 2 pm-4 pm
Originally from Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Bill Crawford graduated from Lawrence County High School in 1976, where he received an appointment to both the United States Naval Academy and the United States Military Academy at West Point.
He would graduate from West Point in 1980 and would become a Field Artillery officer, and would later graduate from Army Flight School in 1981, where he would have extensive aviation assignments. Culminating in the command of two Aviation units.
In 1992, Bill would make the move to Birmingham, where he would serve as the Executive Vice President of the Greater Birmingham Association of Home Builders till 2006, when the Rocket City would come calling his name to return.
Upon returning to the Rocket City in 2006, Bill would work as an engineer until retiring in 2025, when he joined the staff at Talk Radio WZZN, where you can listen to him weekdays from 2 pm-4 pm. As host of The Point with Bill Crawford.
Bill still calls Huntsville home with his wife Ann and enjoys spending time with his family. During the fall, you can hear Bill host Crawdad’s Countdown to kickoff, previewing Army Football on 97.7 ESPN The Zone.
